Christmas ideas (Part IV): Visit the Coke truck

If your kids perk up with the "Holidays are Coming" ad is on TV, this might be of interest

The “Holidays are Coming” truck is scheduled to make half a dozen stops in and around London – most of them at supermarkets – next month. Yes, the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck tour is back for 2019, spreading holiday magic as it goes!

Find out more below…

The 2019 tour starts tomorrow (November 15) in Edinburgh and the truck will visit 19 locations nationwide, before making its final stops in London a month later. The tour is in its ninth year of bringing festive joy to UK people and this year it will have a special partner – Crisis, the national homelessness charity.

A previous advert. The 2019 version is expected any day now.

The truck will be featured in a glittering winter wonderland setting and visitors will be able to enjoy festive photo moments. Coca-Cola will also be giving away 150ml cans of zero sugar Coke to help you get in the Christmas spirit. Not only that, when the Christmas truck stops at Asda and Sainsbury’s stores, you’ll be able to visit the truck and buy a pack of 250ml glass bottles of Coca-Cola personalised with your name.

This year, to raise funds and awareness for the great work done by Crisis – which is now in its 52nd year – Coca-Cola is pledging to donate 10p in exchange for every can placed in its recycling bins throughout the tour.

So, when you visit your nearest stop and dispose of your can the right way, you’re supporting homeless people across the UK and The Coca-Cola Company’s global World Without Waste pledge – to collect and recycle a bottle or can for every one it sells by the year 2030.
